i have suddenly appeared in a city with a briefcase in my hand, i dont know how i got there?

i recently got my ham radio and started playing around with it. It seemed cool. it has been a week since that and once about two days ago, now im not crazy, but i dont remember how it happened, i was at home here on the computer and the next second i am in new york city with a briefcase in my hand. i sat down at a bench and opened it up. inside there was a flashlight, $400, duct tape, leather gloves, a large knife (like for cutting meat) a bottle without lables containing a potent liquid, it was clear.. and a note. it was written in a different language that i could not read. arabic, or greek possibly. i was so scared that i left the briefcase on the bench and took the next flight home. what the hell is going on?
